Dragons & Jesters

                        - Full Length Feature Film

In the New York heat wave of 1957 two gangs fought over the use of a public swimming pool. On the morning of 1st August 4 youths of the Dragons gang were arrested for attacks on two boys from a perceived rival gang - The Jesters.

Of the two victims one, 15year old Michael Farmer, was fatally wounded. His friend, Roger Mcshane managed to escape. Neither boy was ever confirmed as being or associating with the Jester Gang. This was the first time Juvenile Delinquency was recognised in America.

Dragons and Jesters tells the fateful story of what happened that night, how the children involved played out their roles in the courtroom and how the Gang culture is as relevant today as it was over half a century ago.
